- Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments using:
- Clinical data
- Laboratory values
- Weight trends
- Disease-specific guidelines
- Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans
- Manage:
- Therapeutic diets
- Nutritional supplementation
- Enteral feeding
- Hydration plans
- Monitor patient outcomes and modify interventions as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams
- Provide nutrition education to residents, families, and staff
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation
- Participate in audits, surveys, and quality improvement initiatives
- Support community outreach and nutrition education programs
