American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a combined Med/Surg and ED position requiring dual-unit proficiency and current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Details- Work setting is a community hospital Medical Surgical and Emergency Department combined unit
- Nurses are expected to take patient loads on both the Med/Surg floor and in the ED
- Night shift, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (3x12-hour shifts)
- Blocked scheduling (grouped shifts) will be accommodated when possible
- 13-week contract, with length negotiable
- Active RN license in Kansas (KS) or a Compact RN license currently in hand
- Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
- PALS preferred
- Experience in both Med/Surg and Emergency Department settings required
- Minimum one year of RN experience required
- Two professional references required for consideration
- PDF copies of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
- Candidates must be prepared to manage patient assignments across both the Med/Surg floor and the ED
