Job Description:
The MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations using MRI equipment. The role requires maintaining patient safety, ensuring high-quality imaging, and working collaboratively within a team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI scans on 18 patients per day on average using Siemens Avanto 1.5 equipment.
- Rotate call schedule with a requirement of one week at a time, including a stipulated response time.
- Precept, as needed by the unit, and first to float between College Station and Bryan campus.
Requirements:
- Valid state license required.
- Experience with Siemens Avanto 1.5 preferred.
- Required Certifications: BLS (AHA), Certified Mammography Technologist - ARRT (M).
