Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel assignment in Kansas City, KS. Start date: July 12, 2026. 13-week contract with a weekly pay range of 2,830 to 2,967 USD. Responsibilities
- Perform interventional radiology procedures under the supervision of IR physicians, ensuring patient safety and accuracy of imaging guidance
- Operate and optimize Siemens Artis IR systems for fluoroscopy, angiography, and related imaging during procedures
- Scrub for IR procedures, maintain sterile technique, and assist with equipment setup and patient positioning
- Prepare and monitor patients before and after procedures, including vital signs and contrast administration per protocol
- Document procedures, manage imaging order workflow, and ensure proper labeling and archiving of studies
- Collaborate with radiology team to manage a high patient volume and coordinate care across IR cases
Requirements
- ARRT Radiography certification (in hand)
- Kansas State Board of Healing Arts license (application can be initiated after offer)
- 2 years IR experience with scrub experience required; 3 years IR experience and large-hospital exposure preferred (peripheral and neurovascular experience desirable)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced IR setting and to float to other IR areas as needed
- Availability for daytime, Monday–Friday schedule; on-call as needed
- Education: not specified in the notes; applicable licensing and certifications must be current
