Sales Account Engineer/Estimator

Position Summary Harvey Vogel is seeking a Sales Account Engineer/Estimator to support company growth and drive new business opportunities. This role is responsible for estimating methods, processes, and tooling for component parts and assemblies, while also contributing to sales and marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and pursue new business opportunities.
• Prepare accurate and timely price quotations.
• Communicate effectively with customers and manage inquiries.
• Process orders and review job specifications for accuracy.
• Complete job packets and ensure proper documentation.
• Identify, qualify, and present opportunities to management.
• Provide regular updates on project status.
• Travel with Harvey Vogel Sales Representatives for in-person customer visits (approximately 6-10 times per year).
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong customer focus with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive, responsive, and results-oriented.
• Highly organized with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Mechanically inclined; knowledge of metal stamping and fabrication operations preferred.
• Fluent in reading and interpreting part prints, specifications, and tolerances.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM software.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• 2–4 years of experience in metal stampings or sheet metal fabrication (or equivalent).

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive salary (commensurate with experience). $80,000 - $120,000
