CNC Operations Line Supervisor

Your Mission

Drive safe, efficient CNC production that meets tight specifications—every part, every time. You’ll lead operators and line inspectors, eliminate bottlenecks, and sustain a high‑performing, well‑organized line.

Impact You’ll Deliver

• Lead the CNC line and inspection team to achieve output, quality, and safety goals aligned with schedules and SOPs.
• Provide orientation, training, and ongoing coaching for department personnel.
• Model safe behaviors; ensure full adherence to safety requirements.
• Oversee quality performance and immediately correct deviations from spec.
• Maintain clear communication with team members and management; participate in required meetings.
• Assign work to operators and rebalance as priorities shift.
• Uphold company rules and policies on the floor.
• Perform/assist with machine setups, tool changes, and basic program adjustments.
• Diagnose and resolve technical machine issues to minimize downtime.
• Ensure operators have needed tooling, setup sheets, and reference charts.
• Own 5S: keep the line audit‑ready with strong housekeeping and organization.
• During slow periods or downtime, redeploy the team to value‑adding tasks.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience or solid knowledge of CNC machining.
• Ability to work with CNC programming concepts and strong mathematics skills.

Work Environment

• Manufacturing shop environment with moving mechanical parts.
• Possible exposure to odors, noise, dust, heat, cold, and chemicals.
