Physical Therapist - PRN

Job Description:

• Provides direct patient care, evaluates functional needs and outcomes, and consults with other specialists.
• Designs and implements a plan of care for patients based on thorough assessment and collaboration with caregivers.
• Promotes Elara Carings philosophy, mission statement, and administrative policies to ensure quality care.
• Directs assistance of support staff to achieve patients functional goals.
• Documents evaluations, treatment goals, and plans and maintains required prescriptions and signatures.
• Provides direction and leadership to staff and acts as a resource to promote physical therapy in the community.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) approved physical therapy program.
• Current, unrestricted PT license valid for the state of work.
• Minimum one (1) year of experience in a healthcare facility.
• Able and willing to travel within branch/office coverage area.
• Must have dependable vehicle, valid drivers license, and current auto insurance.
• Ability to lift 50-100 lbs and work irregular hours if applicable.
