Are you a passionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant looking to elevate patient care? We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our dynamic rehabilitation team. In this role, you will help Occupational Therapists provide therapy treatments, advocate for patient recovery, and contribute to our high-quality standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist occupational therapists in evaluating and assessing patients' needs and capabilities.
Collaborate with occupational therapists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Provide hands-on therapy and interventions to patients as part of their treatment plan.
Teach patients new skills and techniques to enhance their independence and daily functioning.
Monitor patients' progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately and thoroughly.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
Education: Associate’s degree or certification from an approved Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
License: Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) is required; current state licensure.
Skills: Exceptional communication, empathy, and a professional presentation.
Experience: Skilled Nursing or Long-Term Care experience preferred.
Physical Readiness: Ability to meet physical demands, including lifting and intermittent movement.
