Lead the Building Systems Behind a Landmark Arena Project
We are seeking an experienced MEP Superintendent to join a nationally recognized heavy commercial general contractor on a large-scale arena construction project in Reno, Nevada.
This is an opportunity to play a critical leadership role on one of the region's most exciting and complex construction projects. The successful candidate will oversee the installation, coordination, and execution of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and specialty systems that bring this state-of-the-art venue to life.
From HVAC and electrical infrastructure to life safety systems, controls, and commissioning, you will be responsible for ensuring that every system is installed safely, efficiently, and according to the highest quality standards.

What You'll Be Doing
Field Leadership & Coordination
Lead all field operations related to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and specialty systems
Coordinate daily activities of MEP subcontractors and trade partners
Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project schedules
Work closely with Project Managers, Project Engineers, Design Teams, and Ownership Representatives
Participate in pull planning, look-ahead schedules, and coordination meetings
Monitor manpower levels and production rates to maintain project milestones
Quality & Technical Oversight
Review drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and installation requirements
Identify and resolve field conflicts before they impact project schedules
Oversee inspections, testing, startup, and commissioning activities
Ensure all MEP installations meet project specifications, code requirements, and quality standards
Coordinate BIM-driven installation efforts and clash resolution processes
Schedule & Project Execution
Manage sequencing of MEP work with structural, architectural, and specialty trades
Assist in maintaining project schedules and identifying potential delays
Coordinate procurement and delivery of critical equipment and long-lead materials
Support turnover activities and owner training requirements
Safety Leadership
Promote and enforce all company and project safety requirements
Conduct site walks and safety observations
Ensure subcontractors maintain compliance with all safety regulations and project standards
What We're Looking For
7+ years of MEP Superintendent, MEP Field Manager, or Senior MEP Foreman experience within commercial construction
Experience managing MEP systems on large-scale commercial projects
Arena, stadium, hospitality, casino, convention center, airport, healthcare, or entertainment venue experience strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, controls, and building automation systems
Experience coordinating multiple trades in highly complex environments
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Experience working for a General Contractor preferred
