Mass Tort and Product Liability Associate (Midlevel) - Pittsburgh

Direct Counsel represents a prestigious AmLaw firm seeking a mid-level associate to join its nationally recognized Mass Tort & Product Liability practice.

Locations: Pittsburgh, PA | Newark, NJ | Charleston, SC
Experience: 3–5 Years
Compensation: $215,000–$290,000

This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile, complex litigation matters involving asbestos defense, product liability, multidistrict litigation (MDL), class actions, and complex commercial disputes across multiple jurisdictions.

Ideal candidates will have experience with:

• Mass tort and product liability litigation, including asbestos defense
• Complex commercial litigation, MDL, and class action matters
• Managing fact and expert discovery
• Taking and defending depositions
• Drafting and arguing substantive motions
• Developing and executing causation defenses
• Working closely with expert witnesses
• Litigation in state and federal courts

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• 3–5 years of litigation experience
• Experience handling complex litigation matters independently
• Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills
• Admission in the applicable jurisdiction
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong client-service skills
