Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Keeps maintenance records up to date
- Perform comprehensive inspections and diagnostics on trailers, heavy equipment, and related machinery to identify issues and determine necessary repairs
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on various trailer components
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, to repair or modify trailers and equipment as needed
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and service bulletins to accurately troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications while maintaining a clean and organized workspace
- Assist in the assembly of new trailers or equipment upgrades while adhering to quality control procedures
Qualifications
- 1 year experience maintaining heavy industrial or automotive equipment showing mechanical skills and knowledge
- A proven track record of punctuality and dependability, and the ability to work independently
- Hands on experience with trailers or farm equipment
- Ability to read and comprehend equipment manuals and mechanical drawings, wiring, and control diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with customer service awareness to ensure client satisfaction during repairs or consultations
- Physical ability for heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.) and working in various environmental conditions; commitment to safety protocols at all times
