Bistro Expo

The Bistro 2two2 Expeditor’s role is vital in acting as a bridge between the front and back of house, keeping lines of communication open, ensuring that all quality and time standards are met, and making sure that orders reach the guest correctly. Must be available to work weekends and holidays.

$16 hourly

• Properly prepare and stick the service side of the ala carte line by using a set-up sheet for the Expo station.
• Refill the station as needed throughout service.
• Manage ticket times for both the ala carte line cooks and servers, communicating any potential issues.Act as a liaison between servers, in-room dinning order takers, FOH managers, line cooks, and sous chefs about issues, requests, allergies, and guest complaints.
• Ensure orders reach the guest correctly, presented beautifully with all garnishes, condiments, and utensils.
• Dismantle, clean, and sanitize the Expo station ensuring proper handover for the next shift.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

• Thrive under pressure and maintain composure.
• Clear and concise communication style.
• Organized and skilled at working with predetermined systems, standards, and expectations.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• At least one (1) year of restaurant expeditor, is preferred.
• PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Ability to lift and carry up to twenty-five (25) pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
