Lincoln County Care Center - Shoshone, Idaho
Part Time Day Shift - 4am- 4pm

What you'll do:
- Prepare, administer, and document medications, tests, and treatments
- Record time spent performing individual treatments, in accordance with ancillary services policy, on the medication/treatment record
- Ensure proper storage and security of prescription drugs and biologicals in accordance with facility policies and procedures
- Notify the physician of refusal of medication/treatments, non-compliance with a treatment plan, and resident response to medication regime with prompt notification to the physician of any adverse reactions
- Keep medication cart, refrigerator, and room neat, clean, and the medication stored properly
- Ensures the correct disposal of all sharps
- Key information into computer systems including EMR
- Practice, implement, and supervise Infection Control, Universal Precaution, and safety policies and procedures
- React appropriately to emergency and disaster situations
- Other duties as necessary and assigned

What we're looking for:
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Current, active license as an LPN
- Experience in long term geriatric nursing care, preferred
- Current CPR Certification
- Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical information in the English language
- Must be easily understood through verbal communication in the English language
- Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measurement and weight measurement
- Must have empathy along with exceptional communication and customer service skills
