Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician to join our team for a night shift assignment. The technician will be responsible for cleaning, decontaminating, inspecting, assembling, sterilizing, and maintaining surgical instruments and medical equipment. This role ensures all sterile supplies are properly prepared and available to support surgical and clinical departments.

The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining inventory, adhering to infection control standards, and ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulatory guidelines.

Shift Details:

• Night Shift: 12:00 AM – 8:30 AM

• Schedule: Monday to Friday (8-hour shifts)

• Rotating on-call, weekend, and holiday coverage required

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment

• Assemble and wrap instrument trays according to standards

• Monitor sterilization processes and maintain accurate records

• Manage inventory of sterile supplies

• Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines

• Support operating rooms and other departments with sterile equipment needs

Requirements

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Minimum 3 years of Sterile Processing experience

• Certification required:

  • CSPDT (Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician) OR

  • CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician)

• Strong knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection control standards

• Ability to work independently during night shifts

• Willingness to participate in rotating on-call, weekends, and holiday coverage
