Operating Room - Surgical Technologist

Shift: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of travel experience is required.

• High School completion required.

Requirements:

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local only, travel not allowed. Candidates must live <50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: RightSourcing Program - Mount Sinai.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Scrubbing experience in ophthalmology, ENT, and plastics: at least 2 years.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Prefer experience in operating room setting.

Required Credentials: - Certified CST training program required.

Preferred Credentials: - Courses in operating room technology, science, biology and chemistry preferred.

Unit Details: - OR role with scrub assignment and circulating support responsibilities, including sterile setup, patient positioning and draping, counts, specimen handling, room turnover, and patient transport; medication mixing and labeling are performed under direct RN supervision.

Shift & Scheduling: - No weekends. - Flexible to accommodate 7a - 3p if requested by the OR. - No call.

Special Requests: - PAPR use is not guaranteed across all departments and must be flagged at submission. - Must be willing to shave to pass the mandatory N95 fit test to avoid a rescinded offer.

5 days maximum time off
