Die Cast Operator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Die Cast Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating die casting machines, ensuring the production of high-quality metal components, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. This role is essential to delivering precision parts that meet strict quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and monitor die casting machines to produce metal parts according to specifications.
• Inspect finished products for defects, dimensional accuracy, and quality standards.
• Adjust machine settings and troubleshoot issues to maintain optimal production flow.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of die casting equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Record production data accurately, including cycle times, quantities, and quality checks.
• Collaborate with quality control and maintenance teams to resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Assist in the setup and changeover of dies and molds as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or previous die casting experience preferred.
• Experience operating die casting machines or similar manufacturing equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on machinery.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to all safety procedures.

Working Conditions:

• Standing for long periods in a manufacturing environment.
• Exposure to heat, noise, and moving machinery.
