Senior Payroll Specialist - 2 Needed - MP

We are looking for Senior Payroll Specialists to lead and manage payroll operations and ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing while supporting strategic initiatives and system optimization. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead full-cycle payroll processing for multi-state employees using UKG and Bullhorn platforms
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations, tax laws and internal policies
• Audi and maintain payroll records including timekeeping, deductions, benefits, and tax filings
• Receive, review and enter garnishment, child support, and lien information from agencies and courts
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT Departments to ensure data accuracy and resolve discrepancies
• Manage payroll system upgrades, testing, and implementation of new features
• Prepare payroll reports, journal entries, and reconciliations for accounting and audit purposes
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and taxes with professionalism
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and stay current with payroll legislation and system enhancements

Job Qualifications:

• Must have 5+ years of payroll experience in a high-volume, multi-state environment
• Must be familiar with HRIS Systems and integrations with advanced proficiency in UKG
• Must have strong knowledge of payroll regulations, tax compliance, and reporting standards
• Experience with payroll accounting and general ledger integrations is required
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and formulas
• Must have the ability to pay exceptional attention to detail, with excellent organizational and communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are needed
• Must be able to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Must have the ability to handle confidential information with discretion
