POSITION SUMMARY
This is an entry level position that assists with warehouse operation and courier functions. Work is directly supervised.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Processes material requisitions for stock and direct turnover (DTO) within set guidelines and procedures.
2. Place stock items received in proper warehouse location according to set guidelines and procedures.
3. Keeps warehouse clean, orderly and safe through good housekeeping.
4. Processes material received for stock and DTO within set guidelines and procedures.
5. Couriers parcels to and from multiple locations generally within a seventy mile radius of project.
6. Maintain logs, reports and manual file an organized and orderly manner.
7. Inputs specific data into CRT on issues, requests and receipts of stock.
8. Matches requisitions, purchase orders, receipts, parking lists, credit memos and vendor invoices.
9. Performs audits and cycle counts within stated procedures.
10. Employees assigned to this position are classified as essential personnel. Essential personnel are required to report to work when scheduled during departmental and/or emergency situations including, but not limited to, extended periods of inclement weather when travel may be difficult. This position is essential because in the absence of sufficient personnel, the plant cannot operate safely.
WORK LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES
This position does not regularly provide work leadership or full personnel management to any employees.

QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
High school diploma or GED.
EXPERIENCE
Entry level or six months work experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Valid Texas driver’s license.
KNOWLEDGE
None
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to follow oral and written instructions with attention to detail.
GUIDANCE RECEIVED
Receives ongoing detailed supervision and standard procedures. Follows standard procedures and/or detailed instructions for each task or assignment; any situation that calls for something different is referred to a supervisor or more senior position.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This position requires passing a physical and physical ability assessment specific to this position.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Working conditions include exposure to weather, odor and dust.
TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED
Office equipment including computer, printer, adding machine and copy machine. Warehouse tools include various hand tools, power tools, broom, duster, pallet jack, two-wheel dolly, forklift and pickup truck.
