Medical Assistant;
The Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting providers in the delivery of healthcare and patient care management. Greet and show patients to examination rooms.
- Obtain and accurately record patient medical history and reason for visit.
- Assist providers as they examine and treat patients and assist with procedures as necessary.
- Perform tasks such as doing wound checks, giving injections, removing sutures and notifying patients of biopsy results.
- Experience preferred but willing to train the right person.
Surgical Technician;
Duties include:
- Assisting Physician in Mohs Surgery providing quality care to patients
- Maintain patients' medical records
- Review medical history
- Obtain appropriate consents
- Send in prescriptions
- Perform patient call backs
- Schedule Surgeries
- Obtain Pre-Authorizations
Preferred Requirements include:
- Certified Surgical Tech Preferred (but willing to train in house the right person)
- At least one year of Dermatology experience
- Surgical Experience
- Cosmetic and Plastic Surgical Experience
- Knowledge of vital signs is required
- Working knowledge of dermatologic surgery and sterile technique
- Must have knowledge of medical terminology and be computer literate
- Must be a team player and dedicated to patient care
