Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable General Machine for our client in North Royalton. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting machinery to ensure efficient production. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of machinery according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Monitor equipment to ensure proper functionality and identify any mechanical issues.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs as needed.
- Adjust machine settings to optimize performance and maintain product quality.
- Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards.
- Maintain accurate production records and report any issues to supervisors.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
- Previous experience as a machine operator or in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Basic mechanical skills and ability to use hand tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to accept constructive criticism.
