Parts Technician

Description

Ensure serviceable part needs are met for the company. Performing multiple tasks to obtain and maintain company turn times through disassembly, correctly identifying, and stocking parts. Also collaborate and communicate with all other departments to maintain efficiency.

Requirements and duties

• Motivated self-starter with strong drive for achievement.
• Be able to perform and manage many tasks.
• Quick learner with ability to work independently.
• Organized with great attention to detail, problem solving, time management and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast pasted, dynamic, and team-oriented environment.
• Strong computer skills and data entry.
• Able to read and understand illustrated parts manuals.
• Mechanical skills- disassemble units for piece parts.
• Maintain and prepare detailed records. Ensure proper completion on a variety of inventory data into the system.
• Ability to measure parts with micrometers, and calipers to verify dimensions.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools and manual tools.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Reliable transportation.
• Clean driving record
• Negative drug screen
• Shop errands
• Effectively use the English language, both oral and written, to communicate information.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and code of ethics.
• Adheres to health and safety polices and quality standards.
• Electrical and/or hydraulics experience a plus
• NDT a plus
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
