Medical Assistant

Job Type: Full-time

We're looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for internal medicine and pulmonology to join our rapidly growing team. The right candidate will work closely with the supervising physician as well as with other health care professionals, to respond to patient needs, ensure that all tests are administered accurately, and efficiently and provide administrative support.

Responsibilities:

• Take vital signs and other readings from patients.
• Observe a patient and report to the physician abnormalities or changes in condition.
• Provide medical documentation.
• Communicate with patients through telephone, email, and face-to-face contact.
• Assist the physician during examinations and treatments.
• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis.
• Communicate with physicians, nurses, technicians, and administrative staff in a professional and courteous manner.

• Monday to Friday
• No nights

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Broken Arrow, OK 74012: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)
• Vital signs: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• BLS Certification (Preferred)
• Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)
