Electrical Mold Assembler

Job Summary:
The Electrical Mold Assembler is responsible for assembling, fitting, soldering, and preparing molds, fixtures, and electrical components used in the manufacturing of electrical transmission towers and related products. This position ensures parts are assembled accurately according to engineering drawings, production specifications, and quality standards.

2nd shift available 1pm to 9:30pm Monday to Friday, overtime available when needed

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assemble molds, fixtures, templates, and electrical components according to blueprints and work instructions.
• Perform soldering of wires, terminals, connectors, and other electrical components as required.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and production orders.
• Measure and verify dimensions to ensure proper fit and alignment.
• Use hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and measuring instruments safely and effectively.
• Inspect assembled and soldered components for quality, accuracy, and functionality.
• Identify and report defective materials, equipment issues, or discrepancies.
• Assist with mold maintenance, repairs, and modifications as required.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous assembly, soldering, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience using soldering irons and related equipment.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks using hands and arms.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, heat, and varying temperatures.

Work Environment:
Manufacturing facility producing electrical transmission tower components and related products. Frequent use of hand tools, soldering equipment, measuring devices, and assembly fixtures in a fast-paced production environment.
