Pay: $22 – $25 per hour (based on experience and facility needs)

VeeShift is a healthcare staffing platform that connects qualified Certified Medication Assistants with available shifts at local healthcare facilities, including assisted living communities, skilled nursing facilities, post-acute care centers, and long-term care environments.

The VeeShift mobile app allows CMAs to review open shifts and choose opportunities that align with their schedule.

Providers using the VeeShift platform remain independent professionals and may maintain employment elsewhere or accept direct employment with facilities if they choose.

Qualifications-

Certified Medication Assistants interested in shifts through VeeShift should have:

* Active CMA certification in good standing within the state of practice

* Minimum six (6) months of CMA experience. Beneficial to have: 6 months experience in Senior Living Environments including assisted living or skilled nursing settings.

* Ability to meet onboarding and credentialing requirements required by participating facilities

* Strong communication skills and a professional, patient-focused approach

* Hands-on experience with medication administration, documentation, and reconciliation

* Experience with assisting patients with daily activities: bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting, mobility, and basic hygiene.

* Familiarity with vital signs monitoring and reporting changes to nursing staff.

* Knowledge of infection control, patient safety, and HIPAA compliance.

* Compassion, patience, and empathy for patients.

* Good communication skills with patients and care teams.

* Ability to follow instructions accurately and work efficiently under supervision.
