Position Summary:
As a Biro Saw Operator, you will play a key role in warehouse operations by safely cutting and processing ice slabs while maintaining high standards of quality, sanitation, and efficiency. Safety and attention to detail are essential in this role.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate Biro saw machinery to cut and trim ice slabs to required specifications.
  • Inspect and maintain equipment regularly to ensure proper functionality and safety.
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure all products meet company standards prior to distribution.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the warehouse and freezer areas.
  • Meet daily production targets and communicate any operational issues to management.
  • Keep warehouse and freezer spaces organized and efficient.
  • Maintain a strong sense of urgency and contribute positively to team productivity.
  • Promote a collaborative, team-focused work environment.
  • Demonstrate reliability, focus, and strong attention to detail.


Requirements:

  • Comfortable working part or all of your shift in a freezer environment (cold-weather gear provided).
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions such as bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
  • Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs. (reasonable accommodations may be made).
  • Follow OSHA safety guidelines and company safety protocols at all times.
  • Maintain awareness of surroundings and adhere to food safety and sanitation standards.
  • After a 45-day training period, ability to consistently cut a minimum of 30 bins per shift (top performers may cut 50–60 bins per shift).
  • Flexible availability required, including overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Shift lengths may vary based on production needs.
