Delivery Driver and Warehouse Worker

Carolina Appliance Corporation is looking to hire a full-time Delivery Driver & Appliance Technician. This is a W2 position, Monday – Friday, 8am – 4pm with benefits after probationary period. The job requires you to deliver washers and dryers as well as maintain and repair existing machines. No experience is necessary, all training will be provided to repair and maintain our washer and dryers.

Required:

• You will be able or used to lifting 100 pounds and will be used to working in a variety of conditions (both weather and non-weather related).
• You will have the physical ability to consistently move washers and dryers, both side by side and stackable, up and down stairwells using appliance hand trucks.
• You will have the interest and ability to maintain clean and service appliances. Formal training will be provided, but you must be technically inclined. You will be able to follow instruction manuals and use barcode scanners to complete work orders and make notes about work performed.
• You will be responsible for tracking and maintaining the inventory of equipment and parts.
• You will be a good team player with excellent organization, time management and communications skills. You will be interacting with customers, so it is important you are clean and neat in appearance.

Required:

• You will have a HS Diploma or equivalent.
• No criminal record.
• Have a clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
• You MUST have access to or own reliable transportation to get to and from the warehouse (company vehicles are provided for delivery jobs only, not personal use).
• Candidates considered for Driver/Warehouse jobs must also pass pre-employment motor vehicle record check.
