Accounts Payable Analyst

Location: Richardson, TX
Schedule: M-F 8-5
Compensation: $28/hr

Key Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable Execution: Efficiently execute and review high-volume corporate AP transactions with accuracy and ownership.
• Process Improvement: Proactively identify inefficiencies, recommend solutions, and partner with leadership to implement AP process improvements and strengthen internal controls.
• Reconciliation & Close: Reconcile AP aging reports, resolve payment variances, and provide timely support for month-end close activities.
• Issue Resolution: Respond to inquiries from branch controllers and cross-functional teams using a professional, problem-solving approach.
• Project Leadership: Manage workflow and priorities to meet critical deadlines. Take initiative on special projects focused on automation, tool enhancements, and operational excellence.
• Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with internal and external partners, delivering high-level customer service.

Required Qualifications

Experience

2+ years in Accounts Payable or Corporate Accounting.

Experience in a multi-entity environment.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Technical Skills

Knowledge of proper accounting principles (US GAAP). Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and alpha-numeric data entry.

Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) and VicAI.
