POSITION REPORTS TO:
Transportation Operations Specialist
POSITION OVERVIEW
Operate powered industrial trucks to load and unload material and move them to and from storage areas, and loading docks, into trucks or storage facilities.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Knowledge of all general plant safety rules and absolutes
- Obtains copy of shipping order and transports material to and from designated areas in the warehouse
- Loading and unloading goods
- Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates or loose rolls around the warehouse
- Stacking goods in the correct storage, following inventory control instructions
- Checking loads are secure
- Stacking empty pallets
- Performing daily equipment checks
- Examining products to verify conformance to quality standards
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- High degree of attentionrequiredto prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environment
- Follow instructions foroperatingequipment and keeping records
- Execute assignments inan accurate,timelyand safe manner
- Maintain a clean & safe environment
- May berequiredto use RF scanner gun
- Forklift certification per OSHA standards
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Forklift experience
SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Proficient with numbers
AUTHORIZED TRAINING TIME
- Onsite training to receive inhouse forklift license - 8 hours

SHIFT/WORK HOURS
Shift schedule will depend on open positions at time of hireand will be communicated with new hire paperwork. Weekends and holidays are scheduled depending on business demands.
