Job Description
Summary:
TheSr Business Relations Analystis responsible forbuilding partnerships with external businesses, managingrelationshipsandidentifyingpotential areas of interest for the organization.These relationships areestablishedwith business relations to provide value to clients and shareholders. The position requires familiarity with company onboarding expectations to meet security and legal needs. It requires partnership with internal stakeholders to understand potential opportunity and frame requests for proposals that match thebusinessneed. The role will be able to effectively support and consult with operating areas using the partnership development process from the pre-RFP process through the final contracting stages and into the maintenance of current business partnerships. The role isproject basedand isrequiredto work on projects requiring research, analysis, presentation,communicationand negotiation.
This is a 100%in-office position. Candidates must be able to work on-site at a designated company office during standard business hours.
Essential Responsibilities:
Executes the Partnership Development Process for large sourcing events:
Research market conditions and partner solutions
Correspond with stakeholders toidentifyneeds and develop Use Case
Collaborate with stakeholders to prepare Request for Proposal
Coordinate distribution of Request for Proposal and collection of responses
Complete impartial evaluation of vendors and offerings by comparing alternatives strengths and weaknesses
Manage the selection of approved vendors and document the evaluation/selection process
Formulate negotiation map - Identifying risks and benefits of negotiation alternatives
Negotiate payment terms and service level agreements
Implement contract andmonitorperformance - Adjustingin accordance withterms and changing regulatory controls with modifications to agreement
Drafts, Analyzes,evaluatesand negotiates vendor contracts and service level agreements, including routing agreements through legal review to execution and retention.
Conducting Cost-Benefit-Analysesto compare solutions and contract spend.
Collaborates with shareholders, including senior company executives, legalstaffand CTS, on projects, contract negotiations and Request for Proposals that may require Board Approval, witha high levelof discretion and without significant managerial support. Expert who can negotiate and communicate with senior executives at various sizeorganizationfrom a small business to multi-billion dollarenterprise.
Conceives, develops,deliversand follows techniques,practicesand procedures [within span of control] for Fleet, Business Relations Development,complianceand security administration in a matter that protects the company's interests.
Leads discussion and contract/exploratory related meetings with stakeholders, including projects that cross operational areas. Support for innovation council, advancing transformation strategies.
Prepares,publishesand presents professional, high-quality evaluation materials and reports to leadership for executive review.
Trains and mentors Business Relations Development Team Members.
Agility to manage multiple projects and keep various stakeholders informed to meet broad expectations.
Carries out functions performed by any role within the Business Relations Development Team.
Qualifications / ExperienceRequired:
Bachelor's degree
Eight or more years of experience.
No supervisory/management experience.
Four years of procurement experience or equivalent capability, such as extensive negotiation experience, project managementexperienceor business analystbackground
Preferred Qualifications:
MS PowerPoint and MS TEAMS skills
Insurance operations experience
Advanced certification[s] in current area of expertise
Salary range is $64872 - $98000
