Concrete Finisher

JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Concrete Finisher to support airfield infrastructure projects at Naval Air Station Oceana, with a focus on taxiway and runway concrete work.

 In this role, you will be responsible for placing, leveling, and finishing concrete for taxiways, runways, and other airfield paving surfaces, while performing screeding, floating, troweling, edging, and jointing to meet strict aviation tolerances.

You will set and check forms to ensure proper grade, slope, and alignment, assist with large-scale concrete pours, and apply proper curing methods to maintain quality and durability.

 Additionally, you’ll read site plans, grade stakes, and layouts specific to airfield construction and maintain a safe, clean job site in full compliance with OSHA standards and military base requirements.

Hourly pay rate between $27.00 & $33.00.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- Must have 8 years of civil concrete finishing experience

- Must have a Highschool Diploma or equivalent

 - Must be able to pass 10 panel drug screen - Must be able to pass a criminal background check

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- The ideal candidate will have forming experience

 - The ideal candidate wil have Heavy Equipment operating experience
