Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

You’ll be guiding Extended School Year (ESY) programming, with the enhanced possibility of continuing into the 26/27 academic year based on performance and program needs. Inservice for staff is scheduled for July 7th, with direct instructional days running Monday through Thursday from July 8th to July 30th, 8:15 am–11:45 am. Should you stay on into the school year, hours shift to 7:45 am–3:15 pm, allowing for fuller instructional engagement.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teaching certification
• Experience delivering specialized instruction in school settings
• Strong understanding of IEP implementation and progress monitoring
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with faculty and families
• Flexibility, reliability, and compassion

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging lessons aligned with students’ IEP goals
• Monitor student progress, adjust instruction, and document outcomes
• Foster an inclusive, encouraging, and structured classroom environment
• Collaborate with professionals to support each student’s academic and social-emotional development
• Participate in ongoing staff inservice and professional learning
