Physical Therapist - School Setting in Middleboro, MA

Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

We're seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist interested in a contract position working within a school-based setting. You'll provide direct care and collaborate with educators and families to promote students' access to learning and daily activities.

This opportunity offers full-time hours, working 37 hours each week from now until August 7th, with a strong likelihood of renewal for the upcoming school year. You'll be valued for your expertise, compassion, and ability to foster positive outcomes for students of varying abilities.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Physical Therapy license in Massachusetts
• Previous experience with pediatric or school-based Physical Therapy
• Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
• Comfort adapting services for students with diverse needs
• Ability to effectively communicate with staff, students, and families
• Team-oriented approach and flexibility in addressing student goals

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to determine students’ eligibility and therapy needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans within IEP frameworks
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize students' participation
• Deliver direct and consultative services in classrooms and therapy spaces
• Maintain detailed records and progress notes per district and legal requirements
• Provide guidance and resources for school staff to adapt environments and activities
