Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid SLP license for the state of Virginia (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting highly desirable
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged children
  • Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to student success
