Special Education Teacher | New Oxford, Pennsylvania

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Details:

• Extended School Year (ESY) assignment for Summer 2026
• Staff inservice: July 7, 2026
• Student instructional days: July 8-30, 2026 (Monday through Thursday)
• Summer hours: 8:15am – 11:45am
• Prospect for assignment continuation in the 26/27 school year (regular hours: 7:45am-3:15pm)

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience supporting students with diverse learning needs
• Adaptable and patient approach to instruction
• Strong skills in classroom management and individualized education planning
• Familiarity with compliance and documentation standards in special education
• Effective communicator with students, staff, and families
• Commitment to providing a safe and inclusive learning environment

Role Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to students’ IEP goals
• Monitor and document student progress consistently
• Collaborate with classroom aides, therapists, and administration
• Maintain regular communication with parents and caregivers
