Job Title: Shipping & Receiving Coordinator (Evening Shift)
Job Description
The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator supports accurate and timely outbound shipments by verifying finished product pallets, confirming labels and shipping documentation, staging orders, and ensuring the correct products are loaded onto the appropriate outbound trucks. You will work on the evening shift and collaborate closely with warehouse, logistics, and production teams to keep shipments organized, compliant, and on schedule.
Responsibilities
- Verify finished product pallets for accuracy, including product type, quantity, and condition before shipment.
- Confirm that all pallet labels, shipping documents, and related paperwork are complete, accurate, and properly attached.
- Stage outgoing orders in the designated areas to ensure efficient loading and minimize shipping errors.
- Ensure the correct products are loaded onto the correct outbound trucks according to shipping schedules and documentation.
- Use pallet jacks and other material handling equipment to move pallets safely and efficiently within the warehouse.
- Coordinate daily shipping activities with warehouse, logistics, and production teams to maintain on-time shipments.
- Utilize scanners, WMS, ERP, or MRP systems to track inventory, update shipment status, and maintain accurate records.
- Perform shipping and receiving tasks, including checking incoming materials, verifying counts, and organizing storage locations.
- Assist with packing, labeling, and preparing orders for shipment to meet customer and internal requirements.
- Enter shipping, receiving, and inventory data accurately into computer systems using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and other tools.
- Monitor for potential mis-shipments and take corrective action to prevent errors and ensure order accuracy.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area throughout the shift.
- Support overtime and weekend shipping or receiving activities as needed to meet operational demands.
Essential Skills
- At least 3 years of experience in shipping, warehouse operations, manufacturing, or order fulfillment.
- Hands-on experience with shipping and receiving processes, including pallet labeling, load verification, and preventing mis-shipments.
- Experience with material handling, including safe operation of pallet jacks.
- Familiarity with scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP, or MRP systems.
- Basic computer proficiency, including the use of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and remain on your feet for most of the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when verifying pallets, labels, and shipping documents.
- Ability to work effectively on an evening shift schedule and support overtime or weekend work as needed.
- Solid data entry skills to maintain accurate shipping and receiving records.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are a plus.
- Experience with packing and order preparation in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience using forklifts is beneficial.
- Background in environments that rely on ERP, MRP, or WMS systems for inventory and shipping control.

Work Environment
This role is based in a refrigerated warehouse environment where you will work the evening shift from 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., Monday through Friday, with overtime and weekend work as needed. You will spend most of your shift on your feet, moving pallets and materials using pallet jacks and other material handling equipment. The facility uses scanners and systems such as WMS, ERP, or MRP, along with standard office software like Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, to manage inventory and shipping activities. You should be comfortable working in a cold environment and performing physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 75 lbs and navigating busy warehouse areas safely.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
