Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional growth as a School Psychologist in a vibrant educational setting near Lakewood, OH. This assignment runs from August 24, 2026, to June 7, 2027, with a steady weekly schedule of 37.5 hours. You’ll work within a single school building, collaborating with educators and families to empower middle and high school students identified through your caseload of 40-50. Your expertise in conducting evaluations, guiding IEPs, and implementing interventions will be invaluable as you help shape positive outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Active School Psychologist credential/licensure for Ohio (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience completing psychoeducational evaluations and leading IEP meetings
  • Strong organizational skills to manage a diverse caseload and detailed documentation
  • Ability to collaborate professionally with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Exceptional communication skills and a student-centered approach

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and interpret results to inform educational planning
  • Develop and participate in IEP, Section 504, and intervention team meetings
  • Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to create supportive learning environments
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with district, state, and federal requirements
