Job Description
Description: If you're looking for a job ASAP and have experience in concrete finishing, then this is the position for you! A leading construction company is looking for Concrete Finishers to join the team and assist with placing, finishing, and curing concrete for slabs, floors, sidewalks, and commercial curbing. The company is looking for experienced finishers to start right away, so we will provide a rapid interview process to get you working as soon as possible!
Responsibilities:
• Set forms and prepare subgrade for concrete placement on slabs, floors, sidewalks, and commercial curbing.
• Assist with pouring concrete and ensure proper placement and consolidation.
• Perform screeding, bull floating, edging, jointing, and troweling by hand and with power tools.
• Operate finishing equipment including power trowels, walk-behind trowels, and vibratory screeds.
• Install and remove formwork, ensuring correct elevations, slopes, and dimensions.
• Apply curing compounds and protection methods to ensure proper concrete strength development.
• Monitor slump, surface flatness, and finish quality to meet project specifications.
Essential Skills:
• At least 2 years of concrete flatwork finishing experience.
• Proficiency in commercial concrete finishing including slabs, sidewalks, and curbing.
• Ability to perform screeding, bull floating, edging, jointing, and troweling.
• Experience setting, aligning, and removing concrete forms.
• Ability to assist with concrete pours and ensure proper placement.
• Capability to check surface quality, flatness, and specifications.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
• Experience working on large commercial concrete projects.
• Familiarity with various concrete finishes and textures.
• Ability to read basic layout information for elevations and slopes.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Reliable work habits and consistent performance.
Experience Level: Intermediate-Expert Level
Shift:
• Monday-Friday: 50-60 hours per week
