Special Education Teacher - New Oxford, Pennsylvania

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction to students with diverse learning needs during ESY programming
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that nurtures academic growth and social development
• Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and support staff to implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to foster student progress and engagement
• Track and report student progress, maintaining thorough documentation in accordance with district guidelines
• Communicate regularly with families about student achievements and needs

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teaching certification
• Experience working with students with varying abilities in a school-based setting is highly desired
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs effectively
• Strong commitment to equity, inclusion, and individualized instruction
• Outstanding communication, organizational, and collaboration skills

Assignment Details:

• Inservice training for staff: July 7, 2026
• Student instructional days: July 8, 2026 – July 30, 2026 (Monday–Thursday, 8:15am–11:45am)
• Opportunity for assignment extension into the 26/27 academic year (hours: 7:45am–3:15pm)
• Onsite position at a reputable learning center
