Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This onsite Special Education Teacher assignment offers the unique opportunity to make a difference during the Extended School Year (ESY), with a potential to continue through the 2026/2027 academic year. You’ll work alongside passionate educators and dedicated staff, focusing on individualized support and student growth.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Active and valid Special Education Teaching certification required
- Previous experience in a school-based or special education classroom preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP development, instructional adaptations, and student-centered teaching methods
- Ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues
- Flexible and proactive attitude, ready to adapt to individual and group learning needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction to students with a variety of learning needs
- Implement and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) according to state and federal regulations
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and structured classroom environment
- Collaborate with related service providers, classroom staff, and families to support students’ progress
- Participate in inservice training on 7/7/26, then provide instruction to students Monday–Thursday from 7/8/26 to 7/30/26 (8:15am–11:45am during ESY)
- For those extending into the 2026/2027 school year, regular hours will be 7:45am–3:15pm
