6th Grade: LD Teacher covering core subjects (Math, Social Studies, English, and Science)

Social Studies Teacher: 18–21 Transitional Program focusing on life skills and community readiness

Position Support & Classroom Environment
Classroom Structure: All specialized styles are self-contained, and dedicated Case Managers handle all IEP logistics.
Classroom Ratios: Highly manageable student-to-teacher ratios, running as low as 2:1 and 3:1 for autism classrooms.
Assistance: Fully staffed classrooms with Paraprofessionals assigned to assist.
Behavioral Support: Strong on-site infrastructure, including a team of 7 newly added Behavior Specialists.
Curriculum: Teachers are provided with a structured, dedicated in-house curriculum to follow.
Position Requirements
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week, 1 assigned school building)
Licensure: Active New Jersey state education credentials are required. Candidates must hold a Teacher of the Handicapped (TOH) OR Teacher of Students with Disabilities (TOSD) certificate, along with any necessary subject-matter or grade-level specializations.
