American Consultants is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Torrance, California.

Location: Torrance, California
Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour (06:45 - 15:15). One Saturday shift in a 6-week rotation. On-call required: 2-3 call shifts per 6-week rotation. Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).

- Serve diverse patient populations including pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
- Work with advanced surgical technologies including Mako robotic system
- Minimum 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience required
- Active California RN license in hand (pending licenses not accepted)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- LA fire card within the last 30 days required
- Required surgical experience: Orthopedic procedures (total joints with/without Mako robot, spine, and minor ortho), General surgery including GYN, Urology, ENT, and Plastics, and Robotic surgery (GYN, Urology, General)
- Proficiency in a wide range of surgical procedures including laparoscopic, robotic, orthopedic, urologic, and gynecologic cases
- Experience with Epic charting system preferred
- Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
- Willingness to float between facilities as needed
