Hospice RN
Join our team at Hope Hospice Center as a Hospice RN working Day Shift from 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM. This is a .9 FTE position with 36 guaranteed hours per week. The role will primarily be based in the inpatient unit, with the opportunity to support in-home hospice visits as census demands.
In this position, you will provide comprehensive nursing care focused on comfort and symptom management for terminally ill patients. Responsibilities include administering medications and interventions, assessing patient needs, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, supporting families and caregivers, supervising CNAs, and ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with quality standards.
Requirements:
• Current RN License (Compact or Montana)
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in hospice, palliative care, critical care, or med-surg
• Experience working in a unionized healthcare environment (for RNs)
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Shift: Dayshift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
