American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with at least 2 years of experience and prior travel experience for a 13-week contract in a hospital operating room setting in West Texas.

- Position is located in a hospital operating room (OR) department \n
- Schedule options include 5x8-hour or 4x10-hour day shifts, with a start time of 6:30 AM \n
- Rotating call is required, shared between 2 RNs on a rotating weekly schedule (Mon, Tue, Fri–Sun one week; Wed and Thu the following week) \n
- On-call coverage is limited to general surgery and emergency C-sections \n
- 13-week contract \n

- Active TX RN license or a compact RN license valid in Texas \n
- Current BLS certification required \n
- Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience required \n
- Circulating experience required \n
- Prior travel nursing experience required \n
- 2 supervisor references from within the last 3 years required for consideration \n

- Traveler must report to the main Shannon Medical Center campus in San Angelo on the first day before resuming the contract at the Big Spring location \n
- Facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, including testing for marijuana — a positive result results in immediate cancellation with no exceptions; candidates should avoid any substances, including CBD products, that could cause a positive result \n
- Candidates must reside more than 110 miles from the facility — local candidates are not accepted \n
