Summary:  Greets guest and controls dining room seating according to established policies and guest service standards.

Essential Job Functions:

• Greets guests, determines seating location, escorts guest to tables, and provides menus.
• Answers phone, utilizes reservation system, responds to guest inquiries and takes reservations.
• Refers difficult guest complaints to management.
• Keeps abreast of casino promotions and events in order to respond to guest inquiries.
• Inspects guest identification to ensure guest meets legal age limit for alcohol possession/consumption
• Monitors guest alcohol consumption and acts according to established alcohol awareness program guidelines.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three or more months of related experience and/or training preferred.
• Must be able to work flexible shifts weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of Database software
• Ability to successfully fulfill the pre-employment process.
• Ability to speak an Asian language is preferred.

Physical and Mental Demands:

• Regularly required to see, talk and hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, frequently required to stoop and kneel.
• Must occasionally lift up to 10 pounds.
• Able to interact with others while maintaining a positive and courteous demeanor under frequently fast paced work conditions.
• Ability to work in a noisy and smoky environment
