Partner | Corporate Transactional Attorney Requirements & Qualifications


  • Significant corporate and transactional law experience
  • Portable book of business ideally at $500K+ annually
  • Experience representing privately held companies, founders, investors, and middle-market businesses
  • Licensed and in good standing to practice law
  • Proven track record in business development and client relationship management
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and deal management skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and desire to help grow a practice


Partner | Corporate Transactional Attorney Preferred Background & Skills


  • AmLaw, mid-sized, or boutique firm background serving business clients
  • Experience advising founders, investors, startups, and growth-stage companies


Partner | Corporate Transactional Attorney Day-to-Day Responsibilities


  • Advise companies, founders, executives, and investors on complex business and transactional matters
  • Structure, negotiate, and close mergers, acquisitions, financings, and joint ventures
  • Draft and negotiate commercial agreements, operating agreements, shareholder agreements, and related business contracts
  • Provide outside general counsel services, focusing on governance, compliance, and risk management
  • Maintain and develop strong client relationships while generating new business opportunities
  • Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice groups to ensure comprehensive client support
  • Help build and shape the firm’s corporate transactional group and culture
