Interventional Radiologist Opportunity – Michigan
A hospital-based Interventional Radiology team is seeking a Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist for a full-time locum assignment. The provider will join an established team of physicians and APPs delivering comprehensive IR services in a Level I Trauma Center environment.

Schedule & Call
Daytime clinical coverage
Q3 call rotation
Every third weekday
Every third weekend
Call ratio: 1:3
Patient Population
Primarily adult patients
Significant geriatric patient population
Clinical Volume
Approximately 8 procedures/cases per day
Required Procedures
Providers must be comfortable performing:
Angioplasty
Stent Placement
Embolization Procedures
Needle Biopsies
Thrombolysis
Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE)
Additional Experience Preferred
Orthopedic Interventional Procedures
Gynecologic Interventional Procedures
Urologic Interventional Procedures
Practice Environment
The successful candidate will work within a high-acuity hospital setting managing a broad spectrum of diagnostic and therapeutic interventional radiology cases while collaborating closely with referring physicians, APPs, and multidisciplinary care teams.
Qualifications
Required
Board Certified in Interventional Radiology
Active Michigan Medical License
BLS Certification
ACLS Certification
Preferred
Clean malpractice and licensure history
Travel & Lodging
Local candidates strongly preferred
Providers able to commit to at least 2–3 weeks of coverage per month may also be considered
On-campus lodging may be available if needed
Credentialing
Standard credentialing timeframe: approximately 90 days
Expedited credentialing process available due to urgent need
Additional Requirements
NPDB Self-Query Report dated within 30 days of presentation
All required credentials must be available at the time of submission
