CNC Machinist

HiFyve is hiring a CNC Machinist in the Aerospace & Precision Manufacturing industry in Sidney, OH!

Salary: $30.00 - $35.00/hour + 15% shift differential

Shift: 4:00 PM - 4:30 AM, Monday - Thursday

Location: Onsite – Sidney, OH

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Set up and operate 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC mills and lathes.
• Machine aerospace-grade components to tight tolerances and customer specifications.
• Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T requirements to produce precision parts.
• Adjust tooling, offsets, speeds, and feeds to maintain dimensional accuracy and process efficiency.
• Perform in-process inspections and verify part quality throughout production.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and make setup or process adjustments as needed.
• Partner with engineering and programming teams to support process improvements and optimize manufacturing performance.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• 3+ years of CNC machining experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing environments.
• Hands-on experience with multi-axis CNC equipment.
• Experience with Fanuc, Haas, Okuma, Makino, or Mitsubishi controls.
• Proficiency using precision measuring equipment, including micrometers, calipers, height stands, and gauges.
• Strong understanding of tight-tolerance machining and quality-focused manufacturing practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, precision-driven production environment.
