We are looking to hire a dedicated Logistics Candidate to join our team who will support our Shipping & Receiving department.

Department: Shipping & Receiving
FSLA: Full time, Non-exempt
Reports to: Shipping & Receiving Manager
Summary
- Must be able to review, verify, and scan computer records on incoming shipments and type work orders and create work packages.
- Must be able to prepare items for shipment by inspecting, packing, & making entries into FedEx or UPS computer software and creating and applying labels as required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities in Receiving
- Receive packages from FedEx, UPS, and other Vendors on the dock.
- Compare incoming unit(s) to customer’s documentation (verifying part number, serial number, quantity, etc.).
- Create Work Orders.
- Scan in all receiving documents.
- Verify required documents are in work order package.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities in Shipping
- Identify proper packaging.
- Check for correct labeling.
- Prepare shipments for delivery through FEDEX / UPS systems and take to dock.
- Make records of all shipments.
- Close out Work Orders after shipment.
- File invoices.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma, and one to three months experience with using FedEx and UPS software, related experience and / or training.
- Able to lift 30 pounds, and to maintain proper housekeeping and safety standards .
- Able to read, write and communicate in English.
- Be able to type and be computer literate.
