Physical Therapist – Full-Time
Compensation: $40.86 – $48.07 per hour
Schedule: Full-time (may include occasional evenings or weekends based on patient needs)
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to provide high-quality patient care focused on restoring mobility, improving function, and enhancing overall quality of life. This role involves developing individualized treatment plans, performing therapeutic interventions, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive rehabilitation services.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients' physical conditions, functional limitations, and medical histories to develop appropriate treatment plans
- Design and implement individualized therapy programs to improve mobility, strength, balance, and coordination
- Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques including manual therapy, exercise, and modalities
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes
- Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, home exercise programs, and injury prevention strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and professional practice standards
Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program
- Active state Physical Therapist license in good standing
- Strong clinical reasoning and patient assessment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Prior clinical experience preferred, but new graduates may be considered
Preferred Skills
- Experience with orthopedic, neurological, or post-surgical rehabilitation
- Strong patient engagement and motivational skills
- Familiarity with evidence-based practice and outcome tracking
