Client is looking for a Mechanical Technician. Top skills include dyno testing experience, fabrication capability, and troubleshooting / problem solving experience.
Engine validation and engine development.
Validation is pretty straight forward with just standard testing.
The development space is more manual testing with calibration and hardware development.
Job Responsibilities:
Pallet build - receive a property, set it up to engineer standards, fabrication work, drilling, welding, getting them ready to slide into a dyno to spin (for this spot there is no dyno experience required, this is like a mechanic at a dealership role)
Engine Validation - they will be assigned test cells to own and operate, install of the property, do morning checks, hit a start button because it is all automated, watch that or move on to the next cell to complete task
Engine Development - no start button, 10% automated and the rest is manual, must have puma or dyno experience, developing calibrations or hardware to support the launch of the new properties
Interaction level - Constantly working together with others during their shift
Work environment - typical lab environment, clean, lot of safety and standards in place
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum 5 years of experience with Dyno Testing
Experience with fabrication capability and troubleshooting
Problem-Solving Experience
